Teen & Young Adult

Is there a time in life more significant than the Jr. High, Sr. High, and Young Adult season? Our students are big time in love with Jesus. Commitment, consecration, and celebration mark these student Jesus followers.

R.U.S.H. is our Jr. High ministry. It is for students in grades 6th-8th. We meet on Wednesday nights at the Edge at 7pm. Come hang out with us while we play games, worship and jump into God’s Word.

Epic is our High School student ministry. We meet every Wednesday night at the Edge at 7pm. We invite you to come and be part of our night of worship and the Word.

Mosaic is a young adult ministry with an emphasis on equipping and encouraging young adults 18-25 years old in their life journey with Christ. Ephesians 4:15-16 “We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do. He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.”

Early Childhood

Welcome to MCA’s ministry to children up to kindergarten age.

Nursery (0 to 3 years)- “Let the children come to me. . .” The Nursery Ministries program is an extension of the nurturing and loving atmosphere that all children experience while at MCA. It is provided for all children whose parent(s) or guardian(s) are attending church-sponsored programs or activities. The staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for each child. Nursery is available Sunday Mornings 9:15AM and 11:15AM services, Wednesdays from 7PM-8:30PM.

Early Ed (3 years to kindergarten)-MCA offers age appropriate Bible teaching mixed with a whole lot of fun in its Pre-K/Kinder class Time on Sunday mornings. Children are never too young to begin to learn God’s Word and hide it in their hearts. We emphasize Jesus’ love through Bible lessons, arts & crafts, and activities. Classes are available Sunday Mornings 9:15AM and 11:15AM services.

Elementary

Welcome to Elementary Education at MCA also called the KidZone. KidZone is a safe place where kids in grades 1-5 can experience the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit while building Christ-centered relationships. KidZone meets in the Student Ministry Center at 9:15 and 11:15 every Sunday morning.

• Missionettes now known as MPact meet Wednesday evenings 7-8:30.
• Royal Rangers meet every Wednesday evening, 7-8:30. • Kids in Training aka KIT Team meets Monday nights from 7-8:30. It’s for students in grades 3-5. Kids have a great time learning the art of children’s ministries, puppetry, clowning, giving your testimony and much more. Peggy Crowe is the lady to contact for more information at 338-8843.

Mpact, formerly known as Missionettes, meets Wednesday evenings 7 to 8:30pm. If you have questions call Debbie Olsen, 274-2215 or Pastor Fay, 330-2108.

The purpose of Mpact is:

• To win girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance
• To teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us–developing girls spiritually and mentally
• To provide encouragement, support, and accountability through lasting Christian relationship
• To provide an environment for girls to develop their gifts and abilities
• To acquaint them with the Great Commission of Jesus Christ our Lord

Mpact clubs are grouped by age:

RAINBOWS: Preschool boys and girls ages 3 and 4. Climb aboard and sail away as our Rainbows earn Kangaroos, Ladybugs, and more adventurous animal badges. Meets in SMC.

DAISIES: The Sonshine Club designed for kindergarten girls. Join the fun as Daisies listen to stories, earn badges, and work on colorful activity pages.

PRIMS: The Discovery Club designed for girls in 1st and 2nd grades. Discover the fun and the badges to be earned as the girls learn to apply biblical principles to their lives.

STARS: Designed for girls in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Girls learn about missions, life applications, and other interesting ideals.
