WINTER ROCKFEST - 2009

Hey everybody, this Friday (January 23rd) is Winter ROCKFEST at Wasilla Assembly of God with Pastor Nathan and Nameless Youth Ministry.  Several of you have expressed interest in MCA Youth attending and we are very excited to partner with other Youth Ministries in the area to see the Youth of Alaska reached.

We plan on meeting here at the church at 3:30 pm.  ROCKFEST will start at 5, ends at Midnight and there is a $20 admission fee (if you are writing a check, make it out to Wasilla Assembly of God, NOT MCA).  Students, you will need to be at MCA between 3:30 and 4:00 pm with your parents to sign permission slips if you plan on going.  The bus will be leaving at 4:00 pm.  Parents, we plan on leaving to come home a little early and will be back at MCA by 12:30 am. If you could be at the MCA to pick your student up that would be greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions or concerns please give me a call at #330-2111!

Blessings! Pastor Billy

A Great Weekend

This last weekend I had the opportunity to get away and get a little rest.  But while I was a way, one of our outstanding Youth Leaders Pastor Greg led the way at “The Gathering.” Pastor Greg challenged our students to be a generation“Living Life in Hi-def.” Not only was the Word of the Lord preached.  I heard their was a little broomball action going on at the “frozen tundra” of the The North Campus. What a great night!  Thanks Pastor Greg for all the hard work, you are a tremendous blessing to our Students. Check out this broomball action!

Nite of the Arts

PIC-1746

“Nite of the Arts” on Wednesday Night has been outstanding! This year it looks like we’re going to have over 20 entrees for District Fine Arts.  God is at work in the hearts and lives of our students and it is exciting.  Our teens are being equipped, encouraged, and developing their ministry gifts. A big SHOUT OUT to our leaders who invest there time and resources to bless and equip our MCA Students.

Journey Groups

Journey groups are going great.  We had over 16 in attendance this week and God is doing outstanding work in the hearts and lives of our students through relationships being built.  A big THANK-YOU to our JG leaders for investing your time and energy into the great youth at MCA.

Broom-Ball

Hey MCA students this Sunday Night at “The Gathering”  we’ll be having the time of our life playing Broom-Ball with Pastor Greg.  Please bring your Broom and Winter Gear, it’s going to be cold out there. Pastor Greg assures me that Hot Chocolate will be involved so you don’t want to miss it.  Pastor Greg will also be bringing the Word to us, so come excited and ready to respond to what God wants to do in our hearts. See you there!

Banana Splits

Hey MCA Students, I love Banana Splits!  This Friday night at 7 at the North Campus we’re having a Banana Split Feast.  That’s right a “FEAST”.   So come hungry and invite all your friends. Can’t wait, see you there!
