Pastor Fay led a group of PK’s and MK’s attending District Council to an afternoon adventure at H2Oasis this week. It was a blast riding the Master Blaster and splashing in the Wave Pool then pounding down lots of pizza. Students will remember this fun afternoon for a long time. Check out more photos here.

WOW, what a great Trip! This past weekend we had the great opportunity of traveling to Homer, AK to do kids ministry at Homer’s annual “One Lords Day”. We took a Student Ministries team of 17 on this amazing adventure. There were over 100 kids in attendance as we began “The Quest For Truth”. This was the theme for the weekends Kids Crusade. A BIG THANK YOU to Homer Assembly of God for inviting us and giving us the opportunity do ministry in their community. Thank you to Peach, Robin, Aubrey and all our students for all your hard work. The kids of Homer were blessed and challenged as they discovered “that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life”.

One fish, two fish, three, four, five fish. Ever seen fox in socks or eaten green eggs and ham? Oh the things you can think or the places you’ll go when you’re with the cat in the hat. We’ve all probably come in contact at one time or another with a book by Dr. Seuss and each of us most likely has a favorite title. But none of us have probably had quite the experience that Nikki has had this week in her portrayal as none other than the infamous Cat in the Hat in her school play, “A Seusical Musical.” Yep, that’s her in her black suit and very tall red and white striped hat. How cool is it that you can serve Jesus with your talents while being a cartoon character? Nikki, we are proud of you. You did an awesome job.

Everybody get excited because MCA just got a brand new Children’s Pastor, Pastor Pam Hodges. Pastor Pam will be joining the Student Ministries Team (Pastor Fay & Pastor Billy) starting June 1st. She’s been a big blessing to the children of Sitka for the last 9 years and we are extremly grateful to Sitka Assembly of God for allowing her to follow the call God’s placed on her heart for the children of MCA and Anchorage.
Pastor Pam & Tracy welcome to the team. We truly believe God has outstanding things for the children of Anchorage through your leadership.
